Fittings generally start 2 months before your wear date. It is very important that your weight is stable as possible before fittings begin.  During your first fitting we focus on the bodice and pin your under layers of your gown. Your first fitting takes about 20 minutes.

The second fitting is, generally, 3 weeks after the first fitting. At this time we refine the fit or your bodice, hem and bustle your gown. Your second fitting takes about 45 minutes.Your  pick up is scheduled 1 ½ to 2 weeks before your big day. At this time we ensure that your gown is perfect. Your pick up takes less than 20 minutes. If an extra appointment is needed we have plenty to time to make any tweaks possible.

You should bring your shoes and any undergarments you will be wearing to all fittings. This includes your bra and any shape wear you intent to wear. If you have an illusion back or a low cut dress back, and you require bra cups, many shapes and sizes are available in studio.

Feel free to bring a person or two to your fitting to support you, so you can be relaxed and calm. Natalie is very laid back and will put you
at ease.

This is just a time guideline. If you are arriving a week before your wedding, your dress hasn’t quite arrived or if you are pregnant or just had a baby, the appointments are made to fit the schedule. These must be made in advance as Natalie books quickly. So instead of being a few weeks apart, you a seen a few days apart.

Prices for bridal gowns alterations are all dependent of the construction, design and fabric of each individual gown.  The average gown alteration is generally $350 to $450. If there are extras such as putting on a sleeve or making a gown more modest, by lining it, you will be priced according to the work and fabric used. If It’s a little extra sparkle you’re seeking,  hand beading can also be done, as well. Natalie always does her very best to match up fabrics and beads.

For those who know at the point of ordering your gown, that you want a lace sleeve for example, it is best to order extra lace at the time of ordering your gown at the bridal boutique, if possible.

Appointments are available 6 days a week,

Monday to Friday 9am to 730pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.

During the busy month of April to October, hours are extended.
